About

I'm a User Experience (UX) Designer based in London. With 15 years experience, I specialise in mobile, data-rich and contextually aware applications.

My interest in user experience stems from my architecture training, looking at holistic systems and considering the user’s entire context—environment, social and cultural background. In the context of web and mobile, I leverage my production skills to ensure the experience is relevant and consistent to the requirements and is executable within the technical capabilities of the team, to deliver the desired behaviour.

My process relies on discussion, research and sketching to capture needs and explore direction before moving on to digital artefacts.

I’ve used a number of digital tools (eg Axure, Visio, Flash) but my current tools of choice are Sketch and Figma for drawing, along with online services InVision and Marvel for prototyping. I am also comfortable coding interactive, HTML-driven prototypes when required.
